Angry Facebook crashing phone

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all, I made the most simple of mistakes which I should have known better about. I upgraded from a perfectly functional, nothing wrong, always happy version of facebook. I installed the ltest version when it notified me of an update. Stupid stupid stupid me .
What happens now you ask??? ok some of you aren't asking but i'm going to tell anyways. About 1 in 5 times of uploading a picture, it freezes. Not just FB but the whole handset. Sometimes i can swtich off and back on then i get unhandled exception errors in bbm and facebook and google maps if that is running. And then i can't use any of those apps and have to pull the battery . OR what happens more frequently is that the handset freezes and i can't do a thing and there goes the battery pull again. As we all know this takes forever because the bb has to load so much security junk after a battery pull.
This happens....oh about 4 times a day. It's really great when you're at the U2 concert and Bono is standing 2m away from you and your phone freezes because of FB and you can't get that life changing photo. woo hoo, exciting stuff.
So basically, I uninstalled and reinstalled. uninstalled, pulled the battery and reinstalled. Used desktop manager to uninstall and then reinstalled and got 2 days of trouble free use and now the problem is back.
No I'd don't have a backup of my 3rd party apps so I can't reload the old version. Does anyone know where I can get the COD files to install the previous version or an older more stable version.
I have a Storm 2 9520 running OS5 with hyridised OS6 modules. Yes that means i did have a backup of my apps....at some point. oops!
Any ideas what I can do??
