Default Wet Tour....everything works but...

Please Login to Remove!

I got my tour wet yesterday....
The units works fine except for the track ball.
It will click but it will not go up nor down...
Can this situation be rectified?

Possibly, you could try dismantling it and making sure its dryed out. You could also purchase a new trackball, very cheap. But don't be surprised if you start encountering other problems.

I would use a pre moistened alcohol pad on it with the excess alcohol squeezed out of it, then rub it generously over the trackball(again make sure the pad has been squeezed out as dry as possible before hand) alcohol evaporates easily and it wil help dry matters,

How would the alcohol help?

I would take the battery out and put the BB in a bag of rice (seal it) for 3-4 days and see if that draws out the remaining moisture.

You can't get rid of moisture "on the spot". But good luck.

You may need to look at utilizing your insurance if you have it

Wirelessly posted (well lookie here!)

If you are speaking of horizon wireless. Vasco will be able to take care of you but moisture isn't a 1 day removal unless he has the equipment to "bake" the main board
