I'm new to syncing using PocketMac as I've been on a BES. And previous to that I was using a Windows Machine with BB Desktop Manager and Outlook.

I've installed and set up PocketMac. I plug in my BB Curve, and this is the message I get. Any idea where I can get this?

"pocketmac cannot locate microsoft entourage synchronization tool"

And I have Entourage 2008. The more I read, it looks like PocketMac doesn't support Entourage 2008. Or that Entourage 2008 doesn't have a syncing feature.

Can anyone help me?

PM should sync with Entourage 2008. I know this is stupid, but make sure Entourage is checked to sync with your BB. Check iSync and make sure it is functioning and check the preferences in Entourage to see if you have to turn on syncing, and make sure there is data in Entourage. You may also have to re-build the database. Have you ever been able to sync prior to this?

I used Entourage for a while and I ended up switching to the Apple apps because they were more reliable then Entourage. That has been my experience, I know there are many people happy with Entourage and don't like the Apple apps, to each his own

You can check up on the PocketMac website but at last check their still working on Office 2008 (Entourage) sync capability. See the **Important Notice** on the page PocketMac Updates

For a work around until a new release you can sync the bb using pocket mac to: synchronize events and tasks with iCal and .mac
synchronize contact with Address Book and .mac

Then have Entourage synchronize to those services. It's an extra step but it works.

This is what I do too. I have it sync with iCal, etc., then go to Entourage 2008 and turn syncing on. But I'm using Missing Sync since PocketMac never worked again after the first try on a new Macbook Pro. The second time corrupted all my data. Missing Sync is remarkable.
