My question to you is do chicks dig trackpads or trackballs more?

Yeah...now that you mention it, my trackpad does seem to be slightly skewed. Must be that Canadian manufacturing.

But the pad works great. Far superior to the ball, and a worthy leap from the wheel.

pad for sure, reason is it works the same a year later as it does day one. I cannot say the same for the ball, it worked great day one but down the road you will have issues.

I prefer the trackpad a million times over the trackball. Its so much more responsive and my thumb does not get as tired using it to scroll.

Only had my 9700 for a day and already love the trackpad. The sales lady said it would take some getting used to, but it works very nicely and took no time to adjust. In fact, when I needed to look something up on my Curve, the trackball felt weird already!

Never had the pleasure of using a trackball, but i kind of imagine it as being a bit like an old skool mouse? either way, they trackpad is amazing, smooth flowing touch, love it.

Trackpad. Not even close. The trackball already feels ancient.
