Default Signal Strength

I just got my pearl and I have noticed a rather big difference in the reception or the signal strength of the Pearl compared to my old Razor. Has nayone else noticed this? Is there anything that can be done?

What you see is what you get. I've heard Razr's have always had very good reception over many different cell phones.
