Default How to disable password?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello there,
I bought a used Blackberry Curve 8310 and I want to disable the password.
When I go to Security Options > General Settings > Password, it says Enabled, but there is no option for me to change that to Disabled. What can I do?
Thanks,
Lamaha

Welcome to the forums.

Sounds like your device has an IT Policy on it.

Follow these steps to remove it.

Thank you! How do I know if my device has OS 4.5 and higher?

Please remember I am a total newbie and very much a non-tech-type!

Press the Alt, aA^ (right shift) key, and H at the same time. It should bring you to a Help Me screen. What is your App Version?

Do you mean: Set the default control settings for third party applications?

If so, it's Default Access,

No, on the BlackBerry Keyboard, press the following keys at the same time

Alt
aA^ (this is the left shift key, should be the last key on the bottom row)
H

Otherwise, you can go to Options > About and it should be about the 3rd line down.
