Default This attachment type cannot be viewed...

My wife's Curve cannot view jpg attachments to emails. She gets a message "This attachment type cannot be viewed on your device" for most jpg photo attachments. Some emailed photos can be viewed, though. The only difference is there's a dark arrow on the envelope icon for the email. I don't know what that means.

The email is an exchange account. But she has no problem viewing photos with her gmail account.

Any ideas?

Resend your service books from your BIS account or the email setup icon on your BlackBerry.

"Resend your service books from your BIS account or the email setup icon on your BlackBerry."

I have no idea what that means. Can you step me through it?

How do I resend my service books? - BlackBerryFAQ
I don't think that's the issue as you stated the Gmail account is receiving the attachments without an issue.

I would have her check with her IT dept as it's an issue with her Exchange account.

Your talking about the PDF vulnerability, it's a BES update, nothing to do with the BB device itself. Unless your a BES Admin nothing to worry about.
