For some reason, my BB started acting as follows: when I get a voicemail, it will put a "Voicemail" message in my SMS inbox. I do not want this! I already know if I have a voicemail because the voicemail icon will appear on my homescreen. Please help me get rid of this annoyance!

It wasn't doing it until I updated my OS. I'm searching for a solution that doesn't involve reverting to the previous OS. If I can't find one I'll have to revert.

I agree, it is a bit redundant if you ask me. But that is an odd deal-breaker in my opinion. To each his own.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue, but have managed to overlook it. After all, it's simply a notification, right? I'd rather have an extra notification than a missed one.

I wish you lots of luck. As Midnight and Motorcycle have said, it is carrier related and you cannot change it. Revert your OS if you want. You are wasting your time. The timing was purely coincidental.
