BES and Exchange are 2 different servers. Do I need to stop and restart BES services? Besides not receiving and can not compose either. I was thinking about just going through the enterprise setup again, but there must be a way with out running setup again.

Knotty means if you moved the mailbox within the same exchange server, reboot BES. If you moved the mailbox to another exchange server, then you don't have to.

Assuming you have more than one Exchange Server....

If the same thing happens again and you want to avoid rebooting the BES, just move the mailbox to the other server as was already stated. This way, you do not impact all of your BES users with a server reboot.

Since the BES picks up on the mailbox move between servers, only the user is inconvenienced for a short time longer. Then, if you REALLY need to move it back to the original Exchange Server and the store you want it to be in, you can move it back.

Anytime you move mailboxes, the dispatcher service has to be restarted. We do so many mailbox moves due to litigation hold, exempt flag, etc, that we have a batch file to auto restart the service at noon and midnight.

We usually do the mailbox moves around those times.
