Thanks guys, I'll try and read the dates of the posts before posting, and I'll try and not be so happy about something for free.......NOT. Hey Penguin, I didn't mean to "brag" , I was just excited about the blackberry. Sorry for sounding that way. Later

Way to go Deej, I like that analogy about the gold watch. I guess in a modern day sense it is kind of a gold watch...

Make sure to install BB messanger so you can send pin messages...

At work, our unlimited T-Mobile plan is 44.99 and unlimited Nextel is 108 a month.

Oh nice, I tried loading it, it got to 50% complete and then said "Unable to connect" and my phone now said 507.

Piece of crap. Time to reload the OS and have my phone reactivated.

I agree. IE 5.0 required. LAME! My OTA download for the company pres. went well on his 6230.

Slick little program so far.

Deej, check your messages. I sent you a PM last night about the program.

the same thing happened to me but i had a 400 dollar bill. They told me i had done 42mb data before i had switched to the unlimited plan about 20 days into the billing cycle. what had confused we was that the bill was due to browsing the internet. i had the 3mb package at first and i THOUGHT i had unlimited web browsing likes it says on nextels site, but they told im able to browse any site i wanted just it was pay as you go after 3mb. So they socked it to me. And they credited me nothing.

Default Today's Lesson

I guess the lesson for newcomers to BB and data plans is pony up for any unlimited plan offered and monitor usage.

You can always change to a lower plan later without getting bit in the rear with big charges.

T-Mobile unlimted w/o BES for $19.99 a month! that's crazy good.

My local Nextel store warned me immediately to pick the unlimited plan - for only 10 bucks a month more, I'll take the peace of mind. (I exceeded the 1MB limit in less than a week...)
