Default "Application" is attempting to reset security timer

Please Login to Remove!

I keep getting this message with few apps, including google maps.

"Application Permission"
The application ****** is attempting to reset the security timer:
[]Do not ask again
[Allow] [Deny]
Vendor Modules >>

Even after I hit Allow, it keeps coming back, probably for different modules...
I want to say Do not ask again, but what is this? What is the security timer? Does that mean it is the time it takes for Blackberry to show the password screen? I set mine to 1 hour, does this mean when the software runs it just resets this timer back to 1 hour (or whatever is set)?

Two reasons from RIM
1st for a BES
Overview
When an IT policy is set in a software configuration on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server at the application level, permissions on the BlackBerry smartphone default to Prompt even if the policy is set to Allow.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Resolution
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available

Number 2

Overview
When assigning an unlisted application control policy to a BlackBerry smartphone user, permissions may not be applied correctly on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Steps to reproduce:

Create a Software Configuration which uses an Unlisted Application Control Policy.
Add a user to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Assign the software configuration to the user.
It is not necessary to have any applications actually added to the software configuration - just the unlisted Application Control Policy.
Activate the new user's BlackBerry smartphone over the wireless network.
Download and install a third party application to the BlackBerry smartphone.
Observe that the permissions have not been set correctly and the application may not function as desired.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cause
This issue is caused by a difference between how many bytes the BlackBerry Administration Service sends down to the BlackBerry smartphone to represent the Application Control permissions, and how many bytes on older models and Operating Systems get stored on the BlackBerry smartphone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Resolution
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

Most updated versions of BlackBerry Device Software version 4.2.2 and all versions of BlackBerry Device Software version 4.5 are not affected by this issue. Upgrade the BlackBerry Device Software if available.

SDR328790 has been logged to have this issue addressed in a future version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Workaround
Assign explicit Application Control Policies to the specific applications that are being set incorrectly.

I think the second one may offer some advice in that it suggests the latest software. If you can, try and upgrade.

I will select "do not ask again" next time it pops up and will report, I did not do it as I was actually just trying to find what security timer reset meant.
