Unhappy Unable to turn wifi on

Please Login to Remove!

This is what I get,one day it just stopped working after I installed .411 on my Bold have done everything to try & get it back..Any help is appreciated Thanks

Ive done everything under the sun Went back to the earliest Rogers OS I could find...Now when I have any OS UNDER 5.0 when I try to turn WiFi on the phone reboots..So Im thinkin that somehow fried the WiFi right outa my phone

100 battery pulls left battery out over night nothing has worked

Is it possible that maybe its on my PS side of it..? Could the software on my pc not be installing the right drivers onto the phone or something..?

Ive reinstalled the different OS's 100 times I even reinstalled DM to be sure..Maybe I'll try a different PC next.. I dunno Im @ a loss

How long have you had your Bold, that sounds like a hardware failure (they do happen). I can't see how you could have done it by installing an OS. Each device specific OS has all the code to operate the hardware on that device. As long as you aren't installing 8800 code on a 9000 (I don't believe that is even possable) it should work.

Take it back to Rogers.

Just over a year Ive had it..I also just noticed this morning GPS will not connect to any satellites..

So does GPS & WiFi use the same radio or antenna..?

I wouldn't think so, but there is bound to be a hardware commonality somewhere. Power, chip select, etc. Progressive hardware failure, I'm afraid it sounds like time for a new device.

OOooop Thats a complete lie the GPS works just took awhile to grab the sat signal..lol

But WiFi is still not working..

That is good if you can live without Wi-Fi. Still sounds like hardware. If you have some time to waste you could try Rogers Customer Service.
