Default 8900 or 8520 ???

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, well its upgrade day for me today, and had my heart set on the 8900 after reading a lot of info on this great site, so I rang O2 today to arrange the upgrade, and annoyingly I was told that the 8900 was out of stock at present, and they tried to push the 8520 on me. Although the 8520 was free with the unlimited blackberry package that they offer, and the 8900 would cost me a one off payment of 48.50 (gbp), I resisted making a decision untill I checked out the 8520.
Well, I've had a look, and to my small brain, the 8900 still looks the better phone although being the older brother of the 8520, so I would really appreciate any feedback from you guys n girls in the know that have had experience of both phones.......please be quick, as i'm feeling like a 10 year old at xmas.....thanks
Bill

Basically
the 8520 is newer with a trackpad.
It Lacks GPS.
But everything else is basically the same.

However, if you can wiat a little longer, the 9700 is more than likely coming to O2 in November; which has better specs that both 8900 and 8520, and I believe is around the same size.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

Yes. Go with 9700 if you can be patient.
