I've had a couple of Jabra BT headsets (can't remember the model numbers) and I didn't really like the way they felt, plus I wear glasses, and most BT headsets interfered with the earhook. Plus they were pretty heavy after a while. In my search for a more comforatble BT headset, I ran across the Nextlink line:

It's light and the battery lasts forever. In addition, it charges off of USB. I had the original AX then upgraded to the AX2. I would add this to the list of headsets that you are considering.

The supplied adaptors won't do it. I ordered part #70393-01 from SKC Communications at 800-882-7779. It looks likes the supplied adaptors but is powered by mini-USB. Attaches to the bottom of the holder.

Thanks .... while I was searching for your adapter, I found something else interesting that might work. It's a Motorola Y-adapter for the Razr phone that has a mini-USB on one side and the other side is a reg Motorola connector, which we have an adapter for from Plantronics. Hopefully, it will work.

I have used a Motorola HS810 and HS850 with 7100t and HS850 with 7130e with no problems other than both headsets stopped working after about 6 months of use. The HS850 worked well with the 7130e and did not cause it to reboot. The 7100t had a volume problem when using bluetooth headsets. The 7130e dosen't suffer that problem but as others have noted it does reboot with some headsets. I currently use a Jabra BT500 which I think I like better than the HS850 but it has caused my 7130e to reboot occasionally. Hoping the next Verizon software release will fix the problem.

Thanks so much guys for all your great feedback. I did a lot of comparison shopping and a lot of reading and I decided to go with the Motorola HS820 .

I went to this website, Mobileburn and read up on it and decided that it would be the best for me. I also found a buddy who has the same one and he loves it too. So, I decided to purchase that one.

I did a pricegrabber on it and found it for less than $30 shipped. It was hard to pass up.

SO... when it comes in the mail, i'll try it out and post my final word. Hopefully this experience will be better than my bellagio case experience with blackberryden.com.

you've heard it from others. I like the Motorola HS810, mostly because of the design (I like the boom), but it works great with my 7100t.

Surprizingly enough the design allows for the sunglasses to sit ontop of my head and the earpeice will still fit into my ear (not a tight fit light when they are on your nose - but the piece is loud enough that it makes no difference.

Really you would be surprized on how well they work - though they do get weird stares in a semi-professional job when you have sunglasses on top of your head all day no one really minds where I work though

The Motorola HS820 I got is awesome! Super clear, tons of features, great reception, good distance... I am very hapy with my sub $30 purchase!

Im new to the community, I just bought a Jabra JX10 about a week ago. So far Im happy with the design but I don't have too much experience with many BT headsets. Works great IMO.

I have tried several..... I completely hated Plantronics....

I am now using Nxzen which has many nice features but people have difficulty with the quality when communicating with me.

The best I have used is the basic Motorola.
