Is there any way to read a BBM without send the R back to the sender.................sometimes I want to read the message but I don't want the sender to know I did.

There used to be a way but unfortunately we cannot be sneaky anymore because of the new updates haha.

I still have the option to turn off read receipts. Is that just a meaningless option now or is this maybe some BES thing?

you could get bbm 5.0 its so defective it will only half the time show read or delivered, if it delivers at all.
