yeah, thats covered in this sentence:
'This API would allow creation of a custom profile for an application. However, there are no available APIs that would allow you to programmatically access/change the default Profiles.'

i've never attempted to do it so can't say for sure though.

OUCH! Read here http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=37770 for a user that says your algorithm is flawed and does not take into account fat or fiber despite the screenshot. Can someone fix this?

our company used Idorkorro for remote management. The only feature we ever use is to unlock user accounts in active directory. We are on a BES server so I dont think it woud be hard for a devoloper to make a simple program to unlock an ad user - maybe put in the option to insert your own domain name , user and password so others could use it. Anyway if this is something one ofyou guys could make, I think I could get them to pay for it.

IM me ifyou wanna talk AIM: mr2seater

If you post I may not see it for awhile

How about a prompt everytime you select the reply to all, letting you know "Are you sure you want to reply to all".

Very new to bb but how about an app that will cause the bb to periodically ring or vibrate to let you know you have voice mail waiting, after the maximum default of 3.

A simple utility that I would love to see is a small program that allows us Non-BES users to accept meeting requests. Still shaking my head that it's not available.

"Big daddy" version of the above would, in addition, allow

2. Automatic changing of a profile on a schedule (e.g so it always goes quiet in the evening)

3. Addition of extra elements to a profile (over and above BB profiles) - e.g. a profile also has a home page image associated with it, maybe even a theme!

4. Schedule-linked profiles. Eg Automatic selection of a profile the the duration a calendar item shows time as "busy". Then revert back to previous profile.

A robust implementation of 1 would be great on its own

Hi there - here's my request - posted in one or two other places - the ability to access my SMS messages from the desktop - a la Nokia 6310i and other similar phones - so that I can connect the phone - compose SMS with desktop keyboard and send out through BB phone/GSM network - BB Desktop software is so limited - is it that difficult to have such an add-on?

I would like an app that would create an icon on the home screen that would link to a website. I would like to create the icon (if possible) as well as edit the website address that it links to. Anyone know if this is possible and, if so, who could write this programming?

i'm working on this, i just need some time to get it finished, hopefully within a week. or if any other programmer has the spare time, the method i've figured out to do this is to have an application that downloads png's given a url and saves them to persistent store as a bytearray, the same app saves the desired website urls, if you have five seperate store objects you can then create 5 shortcut apps that use the homescreen api to customise their icon using the saved png information and also launch the browser given the saved url.

so it's there in theory, i just need to sit down and write the thing.

[edit] okay, i've started writing this, in the meantime you can use this for shortcuts: ***MeshTech News: Blackberry Tools Update***

Default John Clark, you may want to check this out:

It's a tool called shortcut tool and does what you were talking about. It's a free tool over at blackberryforums.pinstack.com. Here's the url: RIM Blackberry Forums - Pinstack.com - Free Blackberry Downloads - Utilites & Misc

If the link doesnt work, it's under software downloads.

jfisher,
Is there anyway to make this so it can serve up saved pages in addition to regular urls? Like the pages that you save and are show in the messages application.

That would be of great help to me.

Thanks,
Mark

not sure it's possible, it would be a completely different application using a different part of the api. i've never even saved a page to the messages app so.... wil look into it though.
