Default Help me sync read Gmail on my computer w/ BB

Please Login to Remove!

I just logged onto my Gmail on my computer and I have a few "new messages" but i already read them on my Blackberry.

How can I have a setup that my Gmail inbox on my computer knows that I've already read messages on my BB w/o deleting them.

thanks

You can't.
Read/Unread marks do not reconcile between BIS and GMail.
This works on Yahoo, but not GMail right now.

Oh alright. Thats a shame i like Yahoo mail but i personally dont like the ads on the bottom of emails. The only way to get rid of them is to pay yearly for the premium yahoo account right?

I don't know. I don't use Yahoo mail.

doesn't work on Gmail, however you do get 2 way "sent message" sync...in other words, mesages sent from your blackberry show up in the Sent folder/label on Gmail, which is something NOT common in POP3

Default Try Gmail Mobile

You could try just getting Gmail Mobile for your BB. I have that and can handle most of my gmail from there. I still have Gmail and Yahoo through my email client but I can go to the Gmail Mobile icon on my BB and open and delete to my hearts content. Hope this helps you get around your problem

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

Use the Gmail app for BlackBerry! You have access to labels, archiving and your read/unread is automatically 'synced' since you're dealing with your Gmail account directly. If you use Gmail, you're losing functionality by using the built-in e-mail solution on the BB.
