Default JVM Error 523

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I just tried to update my OS from 4.0 to 4.1 using Cingulars download. It now has a plain white screen and I will get either the above message or JVM Error 535 and give me the option to reset. This is the only thing that it will do. I cannot get the device (7290) to even become connected to my computer to try and restore my old settings. Any help that anyone can offer would be great. Thanks

Wipe the OS off the handheld (you can use JL_Cmder from my signature) and reload it again.

Thanks for the reply. The problem that I am running into is that when the device turns on, I get the spinning hourglass and then these messages come up on the white screen asking me to reset it. I tried it again a little bit ago, and through a combination of pressing the track wheel and escape key ( I think thats what it was at least) I was able to get the main page to come up for about a minute. Then it gave the error message again asking for the reset. I do not think that it would be up and running long enough for me to install an app onto the device. Is there any way to just do a plain hard reset? Thanks
