Friends,

I am planning to buy a BB Torch 9810 unlocked through amazon. I am presently in United States and going back to India. What all accessories should I buy to ensure that it works with a GSM carrier in India. Also will my battery charger which I receive through Amazon work in India? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you

No "accessories" will ensure that it work with a GSM carrier in India.

You need to make sure that the device supports the same frequencies as the carrier on which you plan to use it.

Thanks, I use Vodafone & Airtel in India. Will the 9810 support? Also will the battery charger work or do I need to buy a Universal Charger? Kindly help

The frequency I think ranges between 900 Mhz - 1800 Mhz.

The plug & sockets are completely different in India & US. For my laptop I use an universal charger. Hope I have answered your questions but not sure how precise I am

If I could simplify - Torch 9810 is already available in India. if I buy it through Amazon it comes cheaper. So my question was will it be of any difference if I buy from Amazon as opposed to a local store in India ? Please advise
