hi,
neww to blackberrys, just got a 9800 torch wondering if it has a problem or if the settings can be altered.

when the screen in up all the button seem to be locked, ie the call, bb, return, end call and track pad, you can still use the track pad and the touch screen but not the buttons,

when you slide the phone down they seem to be working fine again. apart form the track pad you cant seem to press to open anything, it moves around the screen tho..

so my questions are

can the settings be changed so that the buttons can be used when the slider is up?? instead or with the touch screen?
and when down can the track pad be unlocked?

or is it faulty??
