Hi,
Im not sure how to explain my problem but the gprs on my bb wont change into capital GPRS on the right of the screen to indicate that I have bb internet access

First try a battery pull. If that doesn't sort it out then either you're in an area without sufficient network coverage for data services or Vodacom has mis-provisioned your account.
