Default Blackberry 9630's Real Name

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry if someone else posted this somewhere already, but i didn't see it.
Looks like the 9630 Blackberry "niagara" is actually going to be called the Blackberry Tour (as reported on BGR). Beware, this is still technically just a rumor, so if it comes out as something else, don't come after me.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

Yeah. I read that this morning. I would not have advocated for that name

I kind of like the name Tour. It makes it sound so elegant and suave. It would be the BB that Tiger Woods, Angelina Jolie and Big Ben would carry.

You got about 4-5 months till you can get it. At least that's what their computer says.

T-Mo USA won't get the 9630 since it's a CDMA device.

Haven't heard any rumors about T-Mo yet.

Nope not Q2, mid-late Q3 at least. But that'll most likely be delayed more.

And I'm not just making this up, I seen the actual date on the Verizon computers.

It seems to depend on who you ask. The Business CSR that I spoke to at Bell Mobility in Toronto said that she had heard a rumor that it was being released by Bell sometime in JUNE.

As far as when Verizon in the U.S. is releasing it, the latest info I heard was AUGUST.

And like with all other BlackBerrys, we just have to be patient and wait !!

blackberrycool.com has July for the new release, just in time for my two year renewal with the big red machine.

Hopefully it won't get pushed back too much.

What does the Tour offer that the 8860 does not, besides a camera?
