Sorry that I've been posting a lot today, I hope that isn't annoying.

Two complaints in the same issue:

If I am in my messages folder, and select "Compose SMS," after I select the recipient it automatically drops down into a second "to:" line. I don't like this. I have to press enter or scroll down in order to start entering text.

If I do it the other way around, by typing a name then selecting text, it automatically takes me to the text line, so I don't have to scroll or hit enter, but there's still an extra "to:" line there which I think is so silly for such a smart phone (no pun intended.)

It may be a petty complaint but it does bug me. Anybody else notice this? Any way to turn it off?

If it's the cosmetic aspect that's bugging you, when you do it the 2nd method you mentioned, you can scroll to the extra line, backspace and it will delete it. The cursor will then be in the correct place to start typing your SMS. I don't think that it can be disabled though. I find it helpful for when I need to text multiple people. You used to have to hit the blackberry button and select "Add Recipient".

This has been discussed before, it is super annoying but no way to disable.
