Hi All,

Does anyone ever try to install the RSA Secure token (fob) software on Blackberry Bold. I have downloaded the latest RSA softtoken from the RSA website but it seem that it doesnt work on Blackberry Bold yet? Any thought on this would be great. Appreciate that

From the RSA website, its seem that Blackberry Bold is not tested yet.

It will not work with SecurID as you cannot import the token. I called RSA and they said it is being tested and should be resolved sometime next year but no ETA. I think they have to work with RIM on this one.

Not entirely true - I've been running v2.1.1 of the RSA SecurID software since I got my Bold nearly a month ago and it works just fine. Sent myself the token via email and imported it without issues and works a treat.

Looked into this a little more closely and seems there's more to using v3 of the software than I first thought - lucky v2 is all I need then

Strange. We are using 3.0 and do not have the option to import on the Bold.

If it's anything like v2.1.1 the option only appears if the token has recently arrived by email i.e. even a saved copy won't work, and that you have run the application at least once to accept the terms and conditions.

Tried that. It runs on our curves, 88xx fine. I have set up 100s of them. Just nothing on 4.5 or higher.

I have actually tried from version 2.0, 2.11 and 3.0 but unfortunately none is working.

Would you share with me, how did you actually make it work? I really hope to make it work.

It works on mine fine. Just scroll to the bottom of the email and use the BB button to import it
