I tried creating a thread in the 8300 forum. That failed. I hope I get some decent responses here
I have the 8830 from Verizon. As any Verizon customer knows, the service is great, fast data, coverage, and all that. The main thing that sucks is the fact that we get our phones 6months+ after at&t and other companies do. Now the 8300 is coming out for Verizon and I am sure a lot of you know that. To those people who plan on switching to the Curve, I would like to know why? What does the Curve offer (for Verizon mainly) that the 8830 doesnt. I heard GPS and maybe wifi. Other than that all I have heard of is a slight media capability. Does anyone have any real good details that would help me decide between the two. I am a big media person, I like watching videos and what not while I am bored. I finally found a site that converts youtube videos directly for the BB so I can watch youtube when I am bored. I am stuck on waiting for the Curve.. or just holding out for the 9000.. OR even just switching to at&t when their 3g network hits so I can get the phones 6mo+ ahead of time.
Thoughts? Details? Thanks in advanced.
