Hi, everybody. I have downloaded media sync but it only gives me an option for syncing with Itunes. Any idea how to transfer files to my BB 8330 using media sync with Windows Media Player?

I LOVE MY BB!!!!!! I don't regret choosing BB over Iphone.

If you have a media card, might be easier to just transfer the files via mass storage mode.

Yeah, I use Mass Storage with Drag and Drop works just fine with me. ;)

When you first connect your Curve, a message will appear asking about USB storage mode. It doesn't stay on your phone's screen long. Answer Yes.

A window should pop up on your computer asking what you want to do. Select the item about opening to view files. An Explorer window should open at the root of the SD card. You will see a BlackBerry directory. Open it and then the one inside of it named Music. Copy your MP3 files into this directory.

By default in Windows, your music files will be in the My Documents\My Music folder.

You don't get playlists or album artwork without using media sync, if that's important to you.

Actually it depends what your settings are on for mass storage. Best thing is to go to your device: Options>Media Card and then turn on media card support. turn on mass storage mode support, and set auto enable mass storage when connected to yes or prompt. If the last bit is set to prompt, you will be prompted on your device when you connect it to the usb port. If you set it to yes, your media card should show up like a flash drive when you plug it in.

How can you have it randomly fill the card though? Say I have 23gig of music on the PC but only have 3gig of room on the card. Sometimes a nice mix is good to listen to.

My .mp3s have album art from drag&drop, and you can create playlists on the curve itself..
