question from canadian
Please Login to Remove!
is it possible for a canadian leaving in canada to have a verizon plan with the storm??
the idea is to buy the phone with a plan for 100$ and then cancel the plan by paying the 175$ termination fee.
total cost for the storm 275$...
is that possible ???
thank s

Erm it may work.
You're always gonna have a problem with networks that dont support a BB they dont sell.
They wont have the correct service books etc.
try looking in the storm forum for anyone using a storm on rogers and if they had any problems.

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)
I'm wondering how you can get a contract since chances are you'll need to provide an adress for where they can send the bill to you.

I don't think Verizon will care if your billing address is in Canada. How about you make a call to Verizon's customer service?

Tell them the plans are cheaper, it suits your needs, you travel in the US a lot, etc. The rep isn't going to try talk you out of signing up. They want your business.
