Default Problems with blackberry PLS HELP

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone can some one help me in regards to my blackberry curve This morning when i was checking my phone a message popped up that said "Media card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error checking utility on a computer." I have tryed to take the media card out and power down the phone but nothing works?

I have tried the following

Open My Computer, and then select the local disk you want to check.
On the File menu, click Properties.
On the Tools tab, under Error-checking, click Check Now.
Under Check disk options, select both Automaticallyl fix file system errors and the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check boxes.

this helped in a certian extent that i dont get the message anymore on my BB but i cant view my files.. have i lost them as i had important documents on it..

any sugestions ?

Can you connect your BB to your computer and navigate around the media card on the pc? If so, you can copy the important stuff to your pc (drag and drop), then format the media card in the BB (wipes it clean) and reload the files you saved back from your pc. You could also take the card out and use a reader/adapter to view the contents on your pc and accomplish the same thing.

If you can't read the card with the adapter or your berry, it sounds like your SD card is toast.

Digital memory is volatile. Lots of back-ups are necessary.
