I installed 4.2 on my lappy, Media Manager installed, too. Desktop manager sees my blackberry, but Media Manager cant! HELP!

Media manager only works with handheld version 4.2.0 and above. If you have a 7100 you cannot get anything higher than 4.1.0

I have a BB 8700g and Media Manager cannot see my device but the Desktop does. how do i transfer tunes to my blackberry?

My device also has the 4.1 OS.. same issue, cannot see device in Media Manager. Is there an option to upgrade OS or is that going to completely mess up my phone and service? I have an Alltel 8703e.

My question is a little different, but I'm hoping to get an answer. I installed the Blackberry Desktop software on my PC, but when I hook up my 8300, I'm not getting a Media Manager option or icon to even show up. Can anyone tell me what's going on?
