I will try calling again later today.
I guess BG is saying should have them by Thursday....

I'm so looking forward to this thing. Having said that, I'm trying to use my will-power to hold off and let others be the guinea pigs.

OK I called-don't know why...I knew it wasn't there lol. Anyway he said that he doesn't know when it will come but that they will have a huge shipment Friday morning because of this huge sale they are going to have. He said Cingular (nor any other carrier) has EVER had a sale like this. He said it's amazing, and that it's never done before and that every single phone/PDA in the store is on a SUPER sale. So remember, Friday, day after Thanksgiving...if the Pearl is there like it's been said that it will, that too will be on sale. I really hope it's there, I am going insane. He said that he heard the Pearl would be coming out in December but that these release dates are so unpredictable that it just may happen friday. There just is no way to tell. Gosh I get a different story every time I call  at least I know about the sale now. |

I went to three cingular stores in North Carolina. I was told there is a waiting list for the pearl. I got pricing from one store telling me if I had a cingular blackberry the upgrade was $280.00 plus sign a 2 year agreement. If I was a new customer the cost was $260.00 plus sign a 2 year agreement.

That's interesting. I hope there isn't a waiting list where I live. How can there be with the 800# and the local stores won't even really acknowledge that the phone will be out soon. This is so confusing!

These got to be just authorised Cingular retailers and not company stores as company stores do not take names for a waiting lists. Most do not even acknowlege there is such a thing until it is released. |

THIS JUST IN! LOL....my friend was at the mall at a Cingular store and she called me to tell me that they said the Pearl will be out on the 24th! YAY! Well then again, I am not going to get that excited just yet. That's the first one to say a date yet!
