RexWireless has software, RexConnect that among other things will send a contact as a vCard using sms. Of course the phone getting the message needs to be able to accept a vcard via sms. I didn't know this was possible until using RC nor have I used it.

I'm willing to bet that you could also create an autotext entry to send a vcard via SMS. SMS is just text. You just need to look into the format used to send vcards via SMS.

business card means, that i want to send someone's all contact details via sms to someone else. e.g. in nokia, if i go to phone directory and select name say xyz then i can send his contact details like cell, landline, emails etc in sms. But it is not possible in BB, using sms, however, mms and email has this feature. Hope i made my self understood for you. take care.

SMS is, by design, text-only. And limited to 160 characters. You can send contacts via BB Messenger or via email. That's the default method(s).

I do this all the time using RexWireless software. I don't know of any other that will do it for the BB. You can have it send a contact info as a SMS so any phone can read it or for phones that will accept a vcard via sms, it will format the message accordingly.

You can find "SMS Vcard Add-on" on Mobihand stores for $1.99.

You will be able to send and receive business card by SMS - the producer mentions that only name, phone and email will be sent due to SMS size restriction.
