Default message light stuck on

Please Login to Remove!

I updated to 4.5, then got a text message. the light blinked like normal until i hit reply, then it went to solid red and is stuck that way. it'll turn off if i turn the phone off, but goes solid again as soon as it get a text. Anyone experience this or have a fix?

What do you mean by turn the phone off?

Are you pulling the battery out of the device (while it's powered on) for 30 seconds?

Same problem here!
I upgraded to v4.5 AT&T from 4.2.1.107 tmobile yesterday.
Everything seems to be ok except for the constant on of the LED light.
The LED will be on from last use. Meaning constant Red if message, Blue for bluetooth, Green for coverage indicator.
The LED will work normally (blink) during use but go to constant on when not in use.
Any fixes? Anybody!?

What he said!! Exact same here, even the same pre version before upgrading.
Buggered if I can work it out apart from turning the damn thing off, but it comes straight back on as soon as a message is received. Very annoying from a work point of view. Begining to dislike this thing...

SOLVED!
ok so this is how I fixed it.
I removed these via DM (stuff that I don't use anyway): the autolock program, the password keeper. colorpearl via phone. Battery-pull restart. That fixed it!
My guess is somehow it remove some sort of conflicts.
During my install of the 4.5 OS, i had to reload the back up (.ipd file) that it made before the wipe for new OS. I had to move files from SD card, format using the phone twice, put the files back on.
It's all good now. I kinda like to the new user interface, like the voice recording - yet tested for class lectures. Don't know if SD card can be more than 2 GB, will try as soon as I can get my hand on one somehow. Still testing the new OS, liking it so far.
My advice, remove all third party softwares before upgrade and put it back after.
Well, hope it eases your frustrations. Certainly, did mine!
