Default Should I get it now or wait?

Please Login to Remove!

What is your guys' opinion on getting the Tour? Should I get it now and just put up with having to take it back and getting a new phone come that time? Or do you think this problem (trackball and such) will be fixed within a few months (around December 25th lol)
My parents are fine with getting it now and are ready to, but if you think they will or if BB or Verizon has said anything about them fixing these issues within a few months, then I will just wait and have them get it as a Christmas gift.

If you have ANY input just go ahead and tell me

Thanks

That really has to be your call. You know how much you need/want it.

Remember, not everyone has that problem. I've not encountered any issues with my Tour and I got mine the week they launched. At one point, I believed I had a battery life issue, but then I realized that once the battery was so drained, I had to use the wall charger to charge it back up.

Don't let the gripes deter you. At this stage, yours will probably be from the "better batch".

Had the Sprint Tour for two weeks. Both my wife and I got one. We are thrilled with it. NO hardware issues.

i have had mine a few days, i haven't had any problems. I have read the problems that some people have been having, and yet i haven't ran into any. But i think this site can help with most problems with the phone. Its a great phone overall and looks great, just use a screen protector (i sugguest a HD one) and a cover, this phone scratches easily.

The HD screen cover makes the pictures more vivid. I bought mine at the local mall.

I would wait to see if the Storm 2 is more in your liking. Storm 2 looks like it may be out in October. Additionally, we could see a new Tour in January - March time frame. Finally, there will be a software update (and OS 5) coming out this fall. It will be helpful to see if those fix some of the issues (battery life, trackball) that people are experiencing.

Well I have a phone currently under contract. Would it make a difference if I got this one from Amazon? I dont want to pay a cancellation fee and not sure if I would have to or not in order to get the Tour..

I know I dont quality for the new ever two thing but that is separate from the 2 year contract. and again, what would it be if I got it from Amazon
