Default to predictable text off

Please Login to Remove!

We just got a second phone and it’s a pearl 8110 how do you turn predictable text off?

I would recommend not turning it off. Give it a couple weeks to get used to it

However go to either reply or compose message press menu scroll to and select enable multitap

I have to disagree, many users turn OFF the Predictive Typing. Leave ON your SureType, and learn to use the Suretype feature.

I believe you turn off the Predictive Typing Options > Screen/Keyboard.

The point is, a lot of users say they don't like it and that it doesn't work well.

Yes, I found predictive input to suck really badly. I found it to turn off @ Options -> Language -> Input Options -> then unclick Predictive Input

Thats where it is for an 8100 anyway.

yeah i agree, i want to turn OFF the Predictive Typing but leave ON SureType.

i tried the method in the post above, but i cant find Options -> Language -> Input Options -> then unclick Predictive Input.

there is no language option in my options menu, ideas?
