Just use home screen shortcuts and you can still set two convenience keys.

you will be able to scroll down to the very bottom and click on Menu. you will also have the option to set it to BlackBerry Applications List (which is listed as 'Default' although BlackBerry Browser is what was selected as my default).

New OS also appears to allow you to turn Data off in network selection. Anyone else find any new features.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Another difference I've noticed is that before I used to hit alt+enter to lock the bb, now if you hit alt enter it allows you to change your language preference right there

I doubt that you can say it is. Too many variables. I have not noticed a WOW difference.

I've noticed when saving pictures from a link you have the option to save it as home screen when saving. I don't recall that before when saving.

In the closed thread about this OS you mention about the shortcuts. Have a look at this thread "themes/New OS", it's been mentioned that shortcuts now work with the Zen and Dimension themes on the 7100 series although on the main screen you are limited to the keys which are not numbers, but in the popup menu in Zen they all work.

As far as removing the label for the applications on the home screen in Zen, go to options, home screen and uncheck show application names.

As mentioned above earlier in this thread, Home Screen is no longer an option in the list - only Organize Applications. Take the Organize Applications button from the Home Screen option and place that into the Home Screen's list place. That is what you have now, so no more checkboxes prior to organization.

I installed the new version but I am having problems with the Zen theme of where I can not organize the applications in the preferred order that I used to have them in. Maybe I'm just not seeing the option anymore. Any suggestions?

Got it figured out.. nevermind.
