Hey there all..

I am going to do a hard reset to my bb..
Is there a way i can save my text messages without using desktop manager...?
I have pocket mac for blackberry. could that help me in anyway..? :D

If by hard reset you mean a battery pull you SMS, Email and PINs should all survive.

no i mean by pulling the battery then turn it on without the battery... isn't that how u do hard reset.. completely formatting it...?

You can't restart it without the battery. Not even if it's plugged into the USB port for charging. You still have to have the battery. And a battery pull will not wipe any data.

You have few choices for saving SMS messages:
1. Desktop Manager - backup. You can later use ABC Amber Converter to pull them out of the backup file.
2. Forward them to another device or as email. You might need to copy/paste the contents into a new email.

No. A reset on a BB does not touch data. A device wipe does.

I am trying the dexrex app.

i downloaded it to my mobile, everything worked. but when it asks me for the country code i put it and save the settings, it tells me can not connect to the server..?

To reset to factory settings you go to Options; Security options; general options; press app button and select wipe handheld.

hey, why does my bold keep deleting all my new text messages...its also deletes my facebook messgaes and notifications...what to do??
