Default *** 8900 Case/Skin Recommendations ***

Please Login to Remove!

New to forum, sry if there's already been a thread about this. If so, please let me know or direct me to the link thx.

But need some recommendations for the best case and or skin for the 8900. I'm just using the default leather pouch that came with it for now and it doesn't feel too safe. I prefer a leather case enclosing the whole phone as opposed to a skin. I don't wanna scratches on the phone at all.

Recommendations with price & site or store purchased from will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I have the incipio feather hard case. It's awesome, proctects the bb, super light, and has the soft touch to it.

I like this hard rubber-coated case better than the skins I have seen. Also, I prefer a bit more thickness than the bare 8900 has. This gives protection and a better feel than the gel skins. And, it is very inexpensive...

I always use OEM Gelskin + The OEM Leather Holster. I guess i'm just an OEM type of guy.

However, I must admit, I am highly impressed by the Seidio Innocase II.

Wow, is all I have to say. Looks thinner than the OEM Gelskin as well.

I love Best Skins Ever... $7.99 for a full body skin. Crystal clear and no scratches. For a great leather case, I have used Axxess Wireless for years. I can't post a link yet, but you can purchase their leather products on eBay.

I just got my 8900 (after using 8800 for 2yrs), I bought swivel holster Blackberry leather case from Blackberry it was tight to begin with so pushed my old 8800 in it and left for an hour and it is fine now. The part # HDW18960001 .. very nice case and feels great.

Default Case-Mate

I have been using the Smart Skin by Case-Mate. Excellent quality rubber case that covers the keys. The cover has the keyboard on the rubber and it fits perfectly. The only thing you have to get used to is the trackball being a little recessed. It even comes with a screen protector for full protection. Amazon had them the cheapest online.
