I finally downloaded the desktop manager, but when i downloaded it I still do not know how download the bbm on it.....!!!
plus i did the backup and restore, and a lot of viruses start coming up...!!!

are you trying to download blackberry messenger?
The viruses are most likely not coming from either your phone applications or DM. Download Manager only connects to the servers at RIM or your cell provider. Applications written to run on your BB will not run on your desktop.

If your looking for BBM 5.0 I think its only in beta. DM will not see any new software not released by your service provider.

I am on a STC carrier, Saudi Telcumication Company, how do i download the bbm, without hardwork...

It's included in the handheld OS you would download to install on your Bold. Just be sure that when you update your handheld OS you have the box checked for BBM. There is no stand-alone download for BBM - you have to run the Desktop Manager software to do an update/install.

I don' tknow if I Have a BB Data Plan...?
Plus when I download the OS, does it matter what carrier i am..?
I download it on my pc from desktop manager to my handheld...is that right...?

You absolutely, unequivocally can NOT use BlackBerry Messenger without a BLACKBERRY DATA PLAN. Period.

Call you carrier and ask them if you have the proper data plan.


As to the OS, it doesn't matter what carrier you are on.
