Default Anti-slip silicon case

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

As I drive a lot I tend to put my cellphone on my dashboard so it's always within my reach. It's wireless connected to a Parrot bluetooth kit so no problem there but I still want it close to me. With my iPhone I used a silicon case so it would be stable on my dashboard as the silicon and the leather on my dashboard formed an anti-slip.

The BB Bold has an "anti-slip" backside but will this suffice or do I need to buy another case upon ordering the cellphone?

Thanks.

Put your phone on your dashboard, take a few corners and you know.

I dont think anybody can decide for you if it will be sufficient. That all depends on the surface of your dashboard and your driving abbilities ;)

I needed an extra silicone skin...

A skin is a good idea anyway, if you drop it it will protect it.

I use the BB OEM silicone with screen patronus. The silicone hold the phone like glue to my center console of my car. Works really well, excellent fit too.

get a roll of that shelf liner (rubber kind) from wallmart for about 5 buck. cut a little piece off to match phone and place on dash. Use the rest of the stuff for other cars or in house use.

I'm a fan of the OEM skins and have been using skins on my BB since they came out; egrips before that. I keep my phone in my top shirt pocket and without the skin it will slide right out when I bend to pick something up.

The only downside with the skin so far is using the charging pod, it doesn't have charging holes in the skin. AT&T packages three in a box so you can't just buy one. Not sure if you can get one on line.
