Default Clock running fast?

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone noticed that their 8700c gets ahead/out of sync with network time? I notice my BB is 2 minutes ahead on about a weekly basis. When I go to "update time", I notice that the network time is "right".....about 2 minutes less than my current BB time.

Not a big deal, just wondering if others have observed.

Why not set the option to use network time? Then you only have to worry about days, like New Year's Eve when we had a leap second. I wonder if RIM got it right?

Interesting. Date/Time Source is set to Blackberry and my BB is about 2 minutes fast compared to Network time.

I believe it's "right" being 2 minutes fast because I checked the time against the NIST atomic clock in Boulder, CO, http://nist.time.gov/ and it was two minutes faster than Network time.

I can tell you that the Rogers network time is usually way off...sometimes several hours in fact. I use BB time only now.

Default 8700 Keeping Correct Time

My only complaint with this phone is that I am constantly out of wack on the time. I've tried everything. Right now, I'm set on network, it says 1054 EST and its actually 1102 EST.

Thank god i wear a watch.

I wouldn't care, but it really makes me nervous everytime i go to bed with the alarm. It SCREWED me this morning, and has on multiple others.
