on the 7130e...there were 3 themes already loaded when i bought it...when using a theme (not the verizon theme), does this drain the battery anymore than usual?

Yes, i've used themes for anything that starts off with the model "71xx" for my 7130e.

can i even download themes right from the vzw 7130e unit itself without the use of a computer? Im asking so many questions bc ive heard/read that verizon eliminated many of the features standard to the 7100 series (ex ringtones etc) thanx.

Yes you can download themes OTA. You just need to email yourself the link to it and thats it. What is disabled? I haven't heard or noticed anything that is disabled on my 7130E.
