Wirelessly posted (Telus Mike 7520 / Telus 7130e: BlackBerry7130e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/126 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3)

Hey luciano. Would it be possible to make your site host those amazing tones in a standard mp3 format for is 7130 users (I know how to read, 7130 is 7100 series).

I have been downloading from the luckyluciano site for some time now but recently I've updated the software on my 7100T to 4.1 and I'm having problems downloading the ringtunes from the site. The old ringtunes I've downloaded are working just fine, I just can't download any new ones. Did some searches but I still can't find the answer.

Just like the previous post, I can't edit ringtones. When I click on tools, "multimedia studio" is greyed out. Anyone able to get this open? I am using Moblie phonetools version 3.00

Thanks for your help!

Hi guys. i'm a little late learning this. I'm finding that the phillips tools are not working as you described, it seems as though maybe it has been changed to now only support generating the ringtones if you have successfully connected a phillips phone, otherwise all the options are greyed out. any clues for me?

Thank you.

This is a really informative thread! If anyone would care to write a nice tutorial for my site Ringtone Producer it would be much appreciated!

Hi

You can just use Phillips Mobile Phone Tools, which will make easy pie of your conversion. You might have to convert the MP3 to a WAV file first, which you can do with WinAmp or a multitude of other free software.

Remember that there is usually a 120kb file limit (might have changed recently) for ringers on the Blackberry.

mtrax, I clicked on the first link in your signature and it opened some window and it changed my IE home page to latin instead. There seems to be some script runing on that free ringtones site.

Hi

That's like really weird, I tried it now and it doesn't do anything? It's on TBlog, but I viewed the code and there's nothing funny. You might have a virus you don't know about?! Been workin fine for over a year...

BTW, I've got a popup blocker running, it might be one of TBlog's advertisers putting shady code in their popup ad? You should complain to TBlog about that. Totally unacceptable in my view.

I did come up with a pop up which was bloacked but something came up after it which I closed quicly. I can say I am glad that my PC is clear of all viruses as this one I use only for 2 forums (here and Cingular) and work so there are slim chances of a virus along side the 2 anti virus programs thart I have.
