Dear friends,
During the upgradtion my 9000 is just become dump and only showing the red light and black screen
i had tried with desktop manager, loader.exe but it come upto the stage of "wait for initialisation"

please help me out dear friends..

few points/facts --
i had change the carrier
previously there was a password
BBSAK is not etecting the device
i am using vista but once i had tried in win 7 and xp but not get success
i ha tried dm 4.... an 5.0.. and also 6 but its not working and always stuck at the stage "wait for initialisation"

pls help me out i am trying the solution from last 20 days but now u friends are the last hope

i mean that when i was upgrading the the software of my BB bold 9000 and may the upgradation was not done in proper manner and now it is not at all working, just showing the red light if charged battery is connected or if it connected to the with USB

i am experiencing the same problem. phone has been sitting for about a month without being charged now it doesnt turn on at all i get is the red led flashing when it plugged into the oem charger / the usb charger on the pc. it goes 1 blink slight pause then 3 fast blinks and just keeps repeating its self.

You need to provide more details. We don't understand what you are saying.

What does this statement mean from post #4? "and may the upgradation was not done in proper manner and now it is not at all working,"

You haven't answered the questions we have asked.

Have you tried reloading the device OS?
Have you tried wiping the device with JL_cmdr?

Tell us more.

as during the upgradation laptop was discharged and the upgrade process stops for once and thereafter i had tried number of times to work with DM loader.exe but every time it stops at Wait for initilisation satge

ihad tried to reload OS but not successed and same problem as above
i had triedJM_cmdr
i had tried BBSAK-but it shows no connectivity

in fact devicemanagerof computer shows the connectvity butthe BB dmis not showing the connectivity but at the time of upgrade it shows unknown usb pin

Does this mean your battery died and your laptop crashed while you were installing the OS?

when i used toinstall os through loader.exe ,it completes the stage load JVM and system software but at the stage wait for device initialization it stop with the message--

"application loader was unable toconnect with your device.please re-connect your device,enter password, if required and click retry."

and when icancelit shows--" unable to reconnect to the device during multi- stage load operation"


there is same thing happen when i install os from the BB dm.

i had tried to install os on my 9000 Bold(nuked) for about 100 times but always having the same problem once i had tried with higher versionand when ihad tried with lower version at that time messag comes on the screen that there is already higher version onyour Moblie so confirm to upgrade or downgrade.\\

which means when ever i try to install there is always a installation upto one stage may be i.e "load JVM and syaytem software"


more i want to confirm by stating this taht is it possible that there is a hardware poblem even first stage of installation is possible
