Hello and thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I've had my blackberry for a couple months now, and this is the first problem that I've encountered that I haven't been able to find a solution for.

I use my blackberry as an MP3 player and have had no problems with it until the most recent update. When the new update was available, I installed it with no problems. Until I started listening to music. It will reboot after about every two songs played , it may also not shuffle properly either where it just pauses after every song and I have to press the fast forward button.

I thought it may be due to the bluetooth connection I use for my stereo headseat or the Motorola T505 that I have in my car. But it also reboots when I have it plugged in to my stereo via the audio jack.

I've formatted the sd card and reloaded all the music to no avail. I have also removed the battery to give a proper reboot, which also didn't work. I also deleted all the bluetooth connections and resynchronized each item, but that didn't work either. Everything else with the blackberry works properly, so I can't figure out why it is localized to the media player.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a wipe, or a complete re-install of the newest OS?

When you say most recent update, you did get the most recent one in the above stickies meant for the 8130 and nothing else?

Ok, this is the exact problem I am having.
I have re-installed the 4.5 OS twice now, and i did do it for the 3130 ESN.

Any other ideas?

It will not play the last 2 sec of the first song, so I have to FF it myself, then when it gets to the last 2 sec of the second song the phone reboots. I can skip the first song all together and it still happens, i can skip the second song and it happens after the 3rd song has played through.

That was happening to me a while back when updated my bb..had to reformat the media card..everything worked fine afterwards

I have reformated, wiped, deleted, tried transfering from windows media player, tried transfering from bb desktop manager through roxio and nothing works !!! It still stops at the last 2 seconds of the song and if it does allow me to ff to the very end of the song then it reboots. pretty stupid for a phone thats supposed so smart. Does anybody know what to do???
