My pearl has locked up. I have taken battery out numerous times. I receive email and phone calls but wont let me do anything. It boots up and the screen is there but the keys and ball doesnt work;Odd thing is I even took out the sim card and it booted to the same screen without the sim card..

Has the phone been dropped of come in contact with moisture?

What screen does it get stuck on?

None of the above. It boots completely up. But cannot go any farther than that. None of the buttons appear to be funtioning and the ball doesnt either.

Have you installed any 3rd party apps recently?

It really sounds like a hardware issue.

cancell that..ball rolls now but will not activate icons and buttons still dont work
