I never got this error with .103 either...but its good to know we got a decent build streak building up! (no pun intended, just poor word choice)

The last hybrid wasn't my cup of tea because of the sheer stability of .103 (minus the notification delay suppression when loading a ring tone off of a media card) although I still haven't found a build that incorporates a stable camera...sad though...leak .106 already! beat CB to the punch!

isn't 106 only for the 9500 or GSM only phones? Will not work on Verizon right?

So .106 wont work on my Unlocked 9530? im a tmobile user on a unlocked verizon storm. I downloaded the update and as usual i try Desktop manager first, but it doesnt find anything for my device.
So i try the Loader file like i always do which has been how ive updated my Storm in the past, But it doesnt update the phone either, just brings up all my apps and asks me if i wanna keep the current version of apps on my phone or or replace device apps with older versions compatible with my desktop sofware...

Has this happened to anyone"? help please!

Every build is built for both version of the Storm. It just depends on which one is leaked out.

I have been running it since Saturday the 14th and not one problem and considerably faster than .103. It should hold you over until the next release..

This is for XP
Simple process..
1.) Download and install 4.7.0.103 for the 9530 and 4.7.0.106 for the 9500.
2.)Then open C:> program files> common files> research in motion> shared> loader files.
3.)Open 4.7.0.103 and create another folder called Java 2, go to the Java folder copy all the .cod files and place them into the Java 2 folder (this is for back up purposes).
4.) Now go into the 4.7.0.106 folder> java folder> select all and copy, now go back into the 4.7.0.103 folder> java folder> and paste. Yes to overwrite. Some of the .103 folders will remain.
5.)Now go into the apploader file, delete the Vendor.XML file and use Loader.exe to load.

Make sure you back up your device for restoring after install

And youre done.
Will this procedure work for .106 - .109? (Hybrid .109)
