Default Box app for Playbook

Please Login to Remove!

Hey forum peoples....

Box app is also giving an extra 50GB to Playbook users who download and/or sign up. It is a limited time offer, so I am told, so hurry.

If you have the 16GB model, then it's like getting triple the storage space!!

Only one Box app on App World for the Playbook sleeper55.

No, I did not mean Box.net

The extra 50GB is for Playbook users who register or login to their app on the Playbook.

Oh, I thought you already had a Playbook. You are going to love it. Took advantage of the fire sale?

Sort of. Juwaack was getting rid of hers at a pretty great price so I bought it. Couldn't resist!

Actually the website for the Box app is box.net - you are correct. The developer/vendor is shown as Box.net Inc. on the PlayBook. This shows the PlayBook on their website.

Box.net | Simple Online Collaboration: Online File Storage, FTP Replacement, Team Workspaces

This says the data transefris encrypted with SSL but encryption at rest, meaning on their servers is for enterprise only.

Yah, that turned me off as well. Though considering they offer password history checking, full text search on there servers (a nice feature), but don't explain how they do that and maintain the integrity of the encryption I am a bit dubious about even the enterprise level security. I suppose it depends on what you are storing there, and what level of security you're looking for.

Thinking of dumping my Evernote Premium account now that I have the 50GB at Box.net. The Evernote app for the Playbook is not really there yet.
