Default BES Enterprise monitoring - what do you use?

Please Login to Remove!

We have four BES 5.0.3 BES servers setup for HA and another server for running BAS/monitoring. About 1500 users at the moment.

We've been rather disappointed with the built in monitoring and need to implement something better to monitor the whole system with. Se already have significant investment in SCOM 2007 R2 and Solarwinds Orion, so considering either the BES management pack for SCOM or buying Solarwinds APM to monitor this.

Have searched on this forum, but not seen any recent discussion on this subject, so just curious what other enterprises are using for BES monitoring and alerting? Is it just us who think the built-in monitoring leaves a lot to be desired? Would appreciate any thoughts on this matter.

We have Boxtone with the SCOM plug in so Boxtone is feeding alerts into SCOM. Works ok. Big fan of Boxtone, good stuff.
