this is due to the streaming capabilities I am certain. people dont realize how much that bogs down a network.

I just looked at my bill. I have the unlimited bberry for BES, and i did not see such a message on mine.

The only message I saw was that they are increasing the cost of txt messages.

they are changing their plans...they still offer a BIS unlimited plan for $30 with no text messaging....you now have to add texting as an add-on and pay addtional fees for it.

On the BES side, the uinlimited plan is $45 , again with no text messaging...

all of their other plans have a 5mb limit...just changed my plan the other day so i got the skinny on whats going on with the plans..

That would make sense - I just checked my bill, and only saw the notice that the text pay per use fees were increasing, nothing about a 5gb cap on data. I have BIS unlimited

any new users will have to be put on the 5gb plan, they cant cap the older users without letting them out of their contract.

I wonder how this affects the iPhone "unlimited" plans...

Not that I care... Proud BBerry 8310 user all the way!

Most users won't even come near a 5GB cap!!! That is a lot. the exception would be those whom tether
