Default 8820 trouble

Please Login to Remove!

So I exchanged my 8820 today because of the dust under screen problem. Now I've got another problem, I cant seem to get my email to work anymore and I have no access to the internet browser, only the wifi browser and media net. It also shows edge in lower case, to my memory it was all caps before. Any help would be fantastic.

EDIT: Now Ive also noticed that I have no entries in my host routing tables, is that normal?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8820/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

It sounds like your BBService has been cancelled. I would call your provider to see if your plan is still active. BTW I haven't heard of the dust under the screen with the 8820's, has anyone else?

Try this - go to the BIS web site for AT&T and resend your Service Books.

Make sure ATT provisioned the BB data plan on the new phone.

Enter the new PIN and IMEI in BIS. Those are unique to each device.

Then resend the service books.

And pull the battery for about 30 seconds.

I had tried resending the service books several times before I posted. Which coincidentally all showed up after about the 3rd or 4th reset of the phone. Its all good now.

It was really bad on mine, the bottom left corner of the screen cover didn't even seem to have been glued down. Hopefully this new one doesn't have those issues.
